Save, Save, and if you have to think a third time about it…SAVE SOME MORE!

It’s one of the most amazing moments in a woman’s life and you, sir, have to do it justice! Why? Because it is always the thought that counts and your lady will want to know that you were thoughtful in your planning of the proposal. Now, the above is not necessarily tied to finances. It can be, but doesn’t have to be. Here’s why. Everyone’s financial situation is different and everyone’s story is different. You know how much you earn, so based on your earnings you have to buy the ring that matches your budget. This is why we again say, SAVE, SAVE, SAVE! Your lady is almost certainly aware of, or has some idea, how much money you make (if not, this is a conversation you want to have soon). So, we are not suggesting any specific ring purchase amount to this request. We are simply saying put some thought into the ring that is going to change her life, bring tears and excitement, AND shows your lady that you not only thought of what she’d love, but that you budgeted for (and maybe even exceeded) it as well. Guaranteed to earn you some bedroom points after marriage!

Hint for the fellas: General rule regarding engagement ring purchasing is: Two (2) months salary, meaning if you make $1500 a month, you should buy a ring around $3000 a month, If you make $3000 a month, you should buy a ring around $6,000. If you make $10,000 a month, you should buy a ring around $20,000. If you make $50,000 a month you should buy a ring around $100,000 and so on.
